Rising British Padel Stars Chloe De La Mare and Rosie Quirk are set to shine at the Alfred Dunhill Padel Classic 2025

THE ALFRED Dunhill Padel Classic is delighted to announce that two of Britain’s brightest young padel talents, Chloe De La Mare and Rosie Quirk, will be showcasing their skills at this year’s tournament, taking place from 14–15 May at the prestigious Hurlingham Club in West London.

As padel continues its rapid rise in popularity across the UK, de la Mare and Quirk represent the exciting new generation of homegrown talent energising the sport. At the age of just 14 and 15 respectively, they have become the youngest players ever to reach No. 1 in the UK LTA Ladies’ Rankings. Their dynamic style of play, fearless spirit, and growing reputations make them a duo to watch on court — and a huge draw for Hurlingham Club members and invited guests attending the Classic.

The Alfred Dunhill Padel Classic, set against the iconic backdrop of The Hurlingham Club is a celebrated event in the world of padel, attracting top-tier players, high-profile guests and VIPs.

Fourteen-year-old Chloe from Guernsey became the youngest-ever winner of an LTA Grade Two padel tournament as she partnered Rosie, who is a year older, to an impressive victory in 2024.

Rosie and Chloe were paired together by Dan Troy of the British Padel Academy who has been helping them both separately, and together, with their progression in the sport.

Troy said: “Spectators at the Alfred Dunhill Padel Classic are in for a treat as they will get a real insight into the future of padel next month at The Hurlingham Club.

“I first became aware of Chloe when I visited Guernsey a couple of years ago, and when I started coaching Rosie in the UK, I immediately knew we needed to pair them up. Winning an LTA Grade Two padel tournament the first time they had ever played together really put them on the map.

“It didn’t surprise me but many were shocked that day to see them beat several big names, including GB veterans player Karen Hazzard and Eloise Tait, who trains with the GB women’s squad.

“In the last year, they have gone from strength to strength as they have played together more and more. They have a great friendship and as everyone will see in May they have the personalities to match.

“For them to win a Grade 2 event at that age was just incredible and shows their potential. Since that first win they have competed at the European Junior Championships and to cap that by reaching the top of the LTA Rankings at their age is quite extraordinary and something we should all be really proud of. Their emergence is good news for Great Britain and for the sport in this country."

The Alfred Dunhill Padel Classic is co-founded by investment, advisory and marketing group TTB Sport alongside Charlie Grave, who said: “We’re absolutely delighted to be welcoming Chloe and Rosie to the Alfred Dunhill Padel Classic this year.

“They’re both incredibly talented and bring so much passion and energy to the court. They embody the future of British padel, and we’re excited for our guests and Hurlingham Club members to see them in action.”

The Alfred Dunhill Padel Classic raises money for the Laureus Sport for Good Foundation, with funds raised including support for The Hurlingham Club Foundation’s girls' rackets project, Empower, which has seen local girls given the chance to play padel at the Club.  For these girls to be able to meet and play with Rosie and Chloe will be inspirational for them, and show what can be achieved by girls in sport.

The partnership between TTB Sport and Laureus Sport for Good at the Alfred Dunhill Padel Classic reflects a shared commitment to harnessing the power of sport as a tool for social change. Last year, Laureus Sport for Good enabled more than 100,000 girls around the world to enjoy the benefits of sport and trained more than 4000 female coaches to support them.

Through this initiative, the Alfred Dunhill Padel Classic aims to support The Hurlingham Club Foundation's vision of creating a thriving and connected community.

Held in the stunning surroundings of The Hurlingham Club, the Alfred Dunhill Padel Classic is one of the UK’s premier lifestyle sporting events, combining world-class padel with luxury hospitality, entertainment, and a quintessentially British summer atmosphere.

With Chloe De La Mare and Rosie Quirk now confirmed, this year’s Classic promises to be an unforgettable celebration of sport, style, and next-gen talent.
