In May 2024, the inaugural Alfred Dunhill Padel Classic made its debut at the iconic Hurlingham Club in West London, bringing together world-class athletes, celebrities, and corporate leaders for a two-day celebration of sport, style, and social impact.

Set in the lush surroundings of one of Britain’s most exclusive clubs, this invite-only Pro-Am padel tournament paired household names with professional padel players and select teams from global brands. The event combined fast-paced action on court with relaxed networking, premium hospitality, and a shared commitment to raising funds for Laureus Sport for Good, helping children and young people overcome challenges through the power of sport.

Highlights

In its debut year, the Alfred Dunhill Padel Classic welcomed a remarkable mix of global sporting legends and rising padel talent to the pristine courts of The Hurlingham Club.

From Grand Slam champions and cricketing greats to Olympic icons and international football stars, the 2024 edition set the standard for what a celebrity pro-am could be. Competitive on court, social off it, and united by a shared cause in support of Laureus Sport for Good.

Among those who took to the court were Jimmy Anderson, Sam Billings, Bryan Habana, Greg Rusedski, Andriy Shevchenko, Judy Murray, Annabelle Bond, Michael Vaughan, and Sir Andrew Strauss – a star-studded line-up of athletes and personalities from across the sporting world.

They were joined by some of the best in the game of padel, including Aimee Gibson, John Leach, Tia Norton, Abi Tordoff, Max Lutostanski, Sam MacNeil, Alfonso Patacho, Victoria Nicholas, Javi Serrats, and Rafael Vega – a world-class roster of professional players who brought energy, precision, and flair to the tournament.
